Afroman
Session
Overview
Afroman appeared on the Nakamoto Stage at Bitcoin Conference 2026 for a short performance and remarks connecting Bitcoin with financial freedom and freedom of speech. He referenced his own experience with a home raid, stolen money, and disconnected cameras, saying that speech helped him identify, address, and ultimately respond to the problem.
He also spoke about injustice in the court system, calling for juries in family court as a way to reduce the power of judges and attorneys making decisions without broader public input. During the appearance, he mentioned a 2028 presidential run and framed his message around civil liberties, accountability, and personal empowerment.
The session then shifted into live music, including performances of Afroman songs such as Because I Got High and Lemon Pound Cake, with references to the Adams County sheriff incident that became part of his public story.
How are you doing? How are you doing?
All right. Las Vegas, or wherever you're from, thank you for coming out here.
I am the hungry, hustling, American dream, Afroman.
I came to talk about celebrating freedom of speech. I want to talk about celebrating financial freedom and making it happen through Bitcoin. I had my house raided, had my money stolen, cameras disconnected, and I felt powerless. But with my freedom of speech, I was able to acknowledge a problem. With my freedom of speech, I was able to address a problem. And with my freedom of speech, I was ultimately able to solve a problem.
So I just want to encourage everybody to use their freedom of speech for something good. You know what I'm saying? You don't have to use it to insult people or be hostile or whatever. But if you got something good to do, it's a good tool to use when you really need to get something positive done.
So I want to celebrate freedom of speech. I want to thank everybody for coming out here. And I need some bitcoins.
All right, all right. I want to let everybody know that there's a lot of injustice in the court systems. This can affect you. And I would like to do something. I would like to have a jury in family court. That way you don't have crooked judges and attorneys just making bad decisions for everybody. A jury is a key piece of America. We the people, for the people, by the people. Arise. Thank you.
Oh, man. I got high. I forgot to tell y'all. I'm running for president in 2028. You know what I'm saying? Let's do it for America. Hey, it's going down. Let's go, players.
How y'all feeling out there, Las Vegas?
Amen, amen, amen. I need to find the best buffet going on today. It's going down.
It's like I don't care about nothing, man.
I was gonna clean my room, but then I got high. I was gonna get up and find the broom, but then I got high. My room is still messed up, and I know why.
I was gonna go to class, but then I got high. I could have cheated and I could have passed, but then I got high.
Everybody's high, that's all that is.
I was gonna go to work, but then I got high. I was gonna go to court, but then I got high. I was gonna pay my child support. They took my whole paycheck, and I know why.
I wasn't gonna run from the cops, but I was high. I was gonna pull right over and stop, but I was high. Now I'm a paraplegic, and I know why.
I was gonna make love to you, but then I got high. I was gonna show 52, but then I got high. Now I'm sticking up.
If I don't sell one copy my entire life, because I got high. I lost my kids, because I got high. I'm singing in Las Vegas.
The Adams County sheriff kicked down my door, then I heard the glass break. They found no kidnapping victims, just some lemon pound cake.
Mama's lemon pound cake, it tastes so nice. It made the sheriff want to put down his gun and cut him off a slice. Lemon pound cake. He want to put down his Glock. Lemon pound cake. Trending on TikTok, lemon pound cake. He's a family guy. Got the munchies because he got high. Lemon pound cake.
He's a bad-ass county sheriff. He's hungry and he's got a big appetite. He was sniffing for weed, then he smelled another smell. What was that? Mama's lemon pound cake. It tastes nice.
It made the sheriff want to put down his gun and cut him off a slice. Mama's lemon pound cake. He want to put down his Glock. Lemon pound cake. Trending on TikTok, lemon pound cake. He's a family guy. And I got money because he got high. Lemon pound cake.
He sees my cake and my porno man cave. Something happened to his camera on the way to the evidence room. Mama's screaming, park. It tastes nice.
The sheriff want to put down his gun and cut him off a slice. Lemon pound cake. He want to put down his Glock. Lemon pound cake. Trending on TikTok, lemon pound cake. He's a family guy. Got the munchies because he got high. Lemon pound cake.
One more time. Lemon pound cake. He want to put down his Glock. Lemon pound cake. Trending on TikTok, lemon pound cake. He's a family guy. He got the munchies because he got high. Lemon pound cake.
What's the biggest booth I'm going to be at, brother? The scarcity. I'll be at the scarcity booth, man. But don't be scarce. Come see me at the scarcity booth. Much love, y'all. Vegas, wherever you're from. Players.
