Forecasting Bitcoin with Macro Models & Mercury Retrograde brought astrology into a Bitcoin market discussion, with Erin Redwing hosting Robert Weinstein, also known as Crypto Damus, and Heather Keys. The conversation centered on Bitcoin’s natal chart, based on the Genesis block, and how astrologers interpret planetary placements such as Bitcoin’s Capricorn stellium and Aries moon.

The speakers discussed financial astrology as a lens for market timing, including past examples involving Saturn transits during the 2018 bear market and Jupiter’s relationship to the 2021 cycle top. They also connected broader outer-planet cycles to macro trends, technology, sentiment, and potential shifts in Bitcoin markets.

A major focus was 2026 as a year of rapid change, especially Uranus entering Gemini and a rare July alignment involving Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. The panel emphasized both opportunity and uncertainty, tying the themes to AI, quantum computing, jobs, personal transformation, and Bitcoin’s evolving culture.

Rather than presenting astrology as traditional technical analysis, the discussion framed it as an alternative model for understanding volatility, timing, and collective psychology. The speakers encouraged attendees to stay adaptable, embrace change, and consider how Bitcoin principles like resilience and low time preference may help navigate uncertain periods.

Okay, I think we can start. Welcome to the astrology panel. Just to get things started, astrology is a highly technical field, so I want to get a sense of the audience's knowledge before we begin. How many people are familiar with their sun sign, like they know what sign they are? Okay. How many people have ever had an astrology reading? Awesome. Great. And then how many people are familiar with Bitcoin astrology? Amazing. That's actually pretty good. That's better than I was expecting.

This is the first ever astrology panel at the Bitcoin Conference, which is so exciting. I've been trying to get them to do this for years. It's very fun to be here, and we have some great Bitcoin astrologers. I'll start by introducing myself and then we can go down the line. I'm Erin Redwing. I'm the co-host of Hell Money Podcast, which is a Bitcoin podcast. We do plenty of astrology episodes. I've been practicing astrology for eight years. Astrology is what got me into Bitcoin, so it's been kind of a wild journey. I was actually astrologer, then Bitcoiner, so I've just been escalating levels of craziness. It's great to be here. Robert, do you want to introduce yourself?

Yes. Hello. Can you guys hear me? All right, cool. I'm Robert Weinstein, also known as Crypto Damus on Twitter. Maybe some of you follow me on there. We do financial astrology for Bitcoin, cryptocurrency markets, and financial markets. I think I'm one of the leading financial astrologers for crypto markets and for Bitcoin. I've been doing this since about 2018. We have a paid subscription service, and I put out a lot of free astrology content on Twitter, trying to get people curious about astrology. When you show someone financial astrology and show them the numbers, all of a sudden they start to question things and get curious about it. Like, wait, I thought that was bullshit. I thought that was woo woo. What's this stuff doing with finance and Bitcoin? So we're here to try to inspire you to think a little outside the box and get curious about astrology.

Yes. I came into astrology a little bit differently. I started off about three decades ago learning the moon cycles so I would not have to take a manmade controlled substance for my fertility and my intuition. That led me into my work as a regression hypnotherapist. Through going into a lot of work with hypnosis and possible progressions, astrology became like verify, don't trust. As people would see things in their charts, or we would start to see where they came from and their future challenges, we could see that these were really connecting with what they experienced in hypnosis. Lastly, I found Bitcoin and changed my entire career. I went really hard on finding my chart with Bitcoin's chart and why it was tormenting me, and then I started to do that for other people. So that brings me here.

That's a great segue, because right behind us we have the Bitcoin natal chart. I want to explain to people what we're looking at. For me, being an astrologer who got into Bitcoin, when I was starting to learn about Bitcoin, the first thing I thought was, oh, it has an exact birth time. That caused the astrology side of my brain to go off. If you've ever had an astrology reading, they'll ask for your time and place of birth, right? They want that exact data. The reason they want that is because they then draw up a map of the solar system at that exact time.

What we're looking at here, with all the symbols around the outside and all the lines connecting the symbols, is literally just a map of the solar system centered at Earth at 18:15 UTC on January 3, 2009, which was the exact time that the Bitcoin Genesis block was mined. The outer ring has all the zodiac signs, the symbols are the planets, and then we draw up aspects between them. So I'd love to get both of your takes on when you saw the Bitcoin natal chart, or as you've worked with it yourself, whether that's looking at individual people and their relationship to Bitcoin or for trading and financial astrology, what are the things that stick out to you about the Bitcoin natal chart?

I'm going to go up here for a second, and I want to point out this little cluster right here. This is the sun, Mars, and Pluto in a stellium in Capricorn. When I looked at the Bitcoin natal chart, I was assessing what Bitcoin is and whether this was a good investment. When I saw this signature here, I started buying Bitcoin within five minutes of looking at this chart. This is a signature you see in Olympic athletes. This is a signature you see in people like LeBron James. This is a signature you see in athletes like Tiger Woods. This is a fierce, unstoppable force that is like the Terminator. It absolutely will not stop. You remember that movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger? It absolutely will not stop until the mission is accomplished. When I saw that, I started buying Bitcoin back in 2017. We've been using this chart to predict the price of Bitcoin, not necessarily day to day, but the overall trend, and we've had quite a lot of success over the years.

Bitcoin is the GOAT, right? Bitcoin has all that Capricorn. I've got a lot of Capricorn in my chart too. When I started to really look at the natal chart of Bitcoin with my chart, and then other people's charts, I could see why some people immediately get Bitcoin and then buy it and connect. They don't need a lot of explanation about what mining is or how it works, or even if it is a safe bet. Other people have more resistance to it. We have all had a story where we heard about it too long before we bought it. I do think that if you look at your chart with Bitcoin's chart, you can really get a good sense of what might be aligned for you to allocate, purchase, or work in Bitcoin, and in what area. Also, what area Bitcoin might be causing you to change, like your health, your lifestyle, your relationships, or your money.

I have the same experience working with clients, because basically everyone who books with me is a Bitcoin person who's looking for that kind of, okay, why am I here? What's going on with Bitcoin and astrology? I definitely notice there are always a lot of Capricorn placements, Aquarius placements, and Aries placements. Those are the three top signs that I usually see. That is not necessarily sun sign, because if you look at this, you can see the sun is one symbol. There are a lot of other energies going on in your chart besides your sun sign. But those are the three signs I see most drawn to Bitcoin, because Bitcoin has very strong placements in those signs.

As Robert was saying, we can track since 2009 when Bitcoin started. We can see how transits to Bitcoin's chart end up affecting Bitcoin's price and what's going on in Bitcoin. Robert has prepared an example of tracking Bitcoin price with astrological transit, so I'll let you take the floor.

Does anybody know what Saturn means in astrology? Saturn is heavy, serious. It's kind of like a bear signal. If you look at financial astrology as a technical signal, as technical analysis for markets, Saturn is a bearish signal, especially if it's in a conjunction or a hard aspect. Sure enough, you look at the bear market of 2018, and you can see that Saturn conjuncted Bitcoin's natal Mars in Capricorn. You can see the exact price correlations. It was the three lowest prices of the year. Then it went on to conjunct Bitcoin's natal sun. At that time, we saw headlines that said, oh, Bitcoin is dead. The crypto revolution is over. That's when I was telling people to buy. This correlation is to the week. This isn't like, oh, it was sometime around the same month or a few weeks. These correlations are super tight. So the astrology is predictive of the Bitcoin price.

This is the 2021 cycle top, and that was fascinating because Jupiter stationed at 22 Aquarius for five weeks. Bitcoin's natal Neptune is at 22 Aquarius, and Jupiter stationed on there. That's exactly when you got the all-time high. These are interesting correlations. The next slide is the Dow Jones in 1942, the last time Uranus went into Gemini.

I think it's really useful to have these examples, because obviously people are skeptical of astrology. I understand why, because there's not this scientific, plausible mechanism that underlies it. I anticipate that people will be skeptical of it, and I'm used to it also as a Bitcoiner. You kind of get over that stage of being like, no, let me orange pill you. You have to tell people what happened in 1971. In astrology, we have a lot of 1971-like dates where we're like, do you know what happened when Saturn and Uranus were conjunct at zero degrees Aries? I think you get past the stage of trying to convince people. But Robert, you've done such a good job of building up your credibility over the years that you've been doing this, and it really does help to show that this works.

Should we talk about Uranus in Gemini? That's what's happening right now. This is a very astrologically active year. 2026 is the year that astrologers have been looking forward to for a very long time. That's because we have some very significant big new energies coming in from the outer planets, which are very slow-moving bodies. If you think about the Earth and the sun, the Earth takes a year to go around the sun, so the cycle for the sun is a year. But if you get all the way out to Pluto, it's a 250-year cycle. If anyone is familiar with the 250-year cycle of rising and decline, like Ray Dalio's economic cycle, that's the Pluto return cycle. Similarly, the Fourth Turning 80-year cycle, that's the Uranus return cycle. We have these big-picture cycles in astrology that you can line up with economic transformation and civilizational transformation.

Just a couple of days ago over this past weekend, we had Uranus enter Gemini. Uranus takes 84 years to go all the way around, so it's been 84 years since we've had Uranus in Gemini. Robert, do you want to talk about the last time Uranus was in Gemini and what we saw, and how that translates to what we might see coming up next?

Uranus hasn't really been in Gemini since May of 1942. That was the last time there was a final ingress. It's about an 84-year cycle. It did dip its toes into Gemini last year, and we saw a pretty good crypto rally when Uranus went into Gemini. Bitcoin was up 22% that summer. But that was the initial ingress. Now this is the final ingress, meaning it's not going to retrograde back into Taurus. It's going to stay in Gemini for the next seven years.

This is the beginning of a new era. We think this is going to be big changes. We're already seeing big changes in technology, AI, quantum, robotics, and crypto. These are all suggested by Uranus in Gemini. Also autonomous vehicles, because Gemini rules transportation and cars. What we do with financial astrology is we go back and look. There was really only one data set, and it was the Dow Jones. There wasn't really an S&P 500. The last time Uranus went into Gemini, the Dow Jones went on a 50% tear for about 14 months. Does that mean it's going to happen exactly again? No. But at least it leans favorable. Last year, when it temporarily went into Gemini, we saw that 22% gain for Bitcoin. So we've got two positive examples. I'm not looking that great this week. We're down a few thousand dollars. But overall, I'm optimistic for Uranus in Gemini.

I know it's a lot of jargon and terms. We're like, oh, it's not going to retrograde back to Taurus. I know it can get lost in the sauce. But I do want to stress that the outer planets, these very long-term cycles, are all entering new signs over this year and the last couple of years. Pluto entered Aquarius in 2023 and 2024. We have Uranus in Gemini now. In 2025, Saturn and Neptune both entered Aries.

Heather, I know you speak more to the big-picture personal evolution, soul growth stuff. I feel like that's a big part of this as well. It's not just about trading and finding the right signals. There's also this element of what you're here to do, what role you can play in this very transformative time, and what the future holds. We're living through transformative times. How do you see that playing out, and what have your big takeaways been?

I think the biggest thing is that the macro model is so healthy. I heard a lot of conversations the last couple of days about people not sleeping, people being really afraid of the future, and being really scared that they just don't know enough, they're not enough, they're not prepared enough. I think the best part about having a map and having an understanding about the evolution of humanity is that it can be really helpful. For one, start sleeping, because sleep is amazing and we really live in the present reality.

Also, if you look ahead, you can understand that things have to fall apart in order for the light to rise. Consciousness is rising. The changes that are happening in astrology are just a map of what is happening. If we open our eyes, we can really zoom out and go, okay, past the crash and burn, what is the uprising? Personally, like you said, Erin, there's a lot of value in understanding what your role in that is. Because if you're acting from a place of fear or you're feeling a lot of anxiety for the future, then maybe you could get some value in understanding what challenge you came here to live.

I totally agree. The biggest advice I have for people in 2026 is that things are moving very fast and you can't totally check out of that. If you have this impulse of, I'm going to leave society, I'm not going to be a part of this at all, that's not really an option. Things will transform around you. You can't run from it. But you also can't allow yourself to be sucked up into the Uranus in Gemini stuff. For the astrology people out there, there are a lot of ideas floating around. There are a lot of fast-moving changes. Not all of them will stick. Not all of them are permanent. You have to be able to let information flow through you, let these transformations wash over you, but not grip too tightly to things looking a certain way, and not be too mournful when something changes.

A lot of people are concerned about the job market and how careers will look in the next couple of years. We have no idea. Anyone who's telling you right now, oh, it's definitely going to look this way, Uranus in Gemini is going to give them an awakening for sure. I would love to talk about what's coming up next, because I'm sure everyone is interested to hear what's coming up this summer, the rest of the year, and the next 20 years. Robert, do you want to start?

Just to follow up on a thought on what you said, Gemini is the fastest sign in the zodiac, and it's ruled by Mercury. Uranus brings sudden, unexpected changes and opportunities that can bring big personal breakthroughs, but it can also bring chaotic, turbulent times. Everything is going to speed up with Uranus in Gemini.

One thing I wanted to point out is when Uranus hits two Gemini, which is in late May and early June, it's going to make a trine to Bitcoin's natal Mercury. I'm very much looking forward to this. I think it's going to be very good for Bitcoin, and I am hoping that we're going to see a nice rally that goes into June. Obviously there will be some bad days, there will be some bad weeks. It's going to be up and down. But overall I like this aspect going into June, and I'm hoping that Uranus is going to bring some big breakthroughs for Bitcoin sentiment in the market and get it unstuck from this choppy sideways range that it's been in.

The other thing we should talk about is the André Barbault alignment before we run out of time. There's a really rare, remarkable, kind of once-in-a-generation alignment. More than once in a generation. This is basically unprecedented. That's going to come together from air to fire in the middle of July. This can bring all sorts of personal breakthroughs. André Barbault was a famous French astrologer. He was talking about this decades in advance and saying it was going to be a huge breakthrough for humanity.

I want to give some context on André Barbault, because he really is one of the fathers of outer planet astrology. He did a lot of the early foundational work, because we only discovered the outer planets in the last 100 to 150 years, and astrology is a thousands-year-old practice. I always joke that we're in the golden age of astrology right now, because we introduced all these new planets that have all these long cycles that we can study, and it's such a cool time to be doing this.

André Barbault was active from around the 1940s to the 1990s, and he died in 2019. Two of his most famous predictions were that he predicted the fall of the Soviet Union to the month back in the 1970s. The Soviet Union did not fall until the end of the 1980s into the early 1990s. He predicted the fall and said, look, I know it seems like the Soviet Union is doing really well right now, but this alignment is happening and they're done after this. Similarly, he predicted in 1995 that there would be a global pandemic in January 2020, and he died before he was able to see that prediction live out.

When we're talking about one of the greats, André Barbault is one of the greats. Before he died in 2019, he gave his final interview, and he talked about the alignment of July 2026. He said this is the entrance into the new age. When we have these New Age people talking about entering the Age of Aquarius, a new consciousness awakening, and all these words people like to use for the transformative times we're living in, he looked at this alignment and said, this is it. This is the beginning. That's what's coming up here.

He didn't get to live to see his Covid prediction come true, and he didn't get to live to see this come true. But this has been something that astrologers have really been looking forward to. What's hard about this is, as we said earlier, there's no historical precedent. We have an alignment from Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. These are all of the outer-planet heavy hitters, very slow-moving, all moving into perfect alignment with each other. This is July 15 through July 25 of 2026. I know it's hard to predict what this could be, but for both of you looking ahead at this, maybe let's start with Heather and then go to Robert. How are you looking at this transformative time specifically for July 2026, but then more broadly, what do you see coming in at this time?

I see something that we're already seeing. We're already living in it. Sometimes it can feel like something is going to come and it's going to be really intense. Sometimes it is like Covid, so it's not that that might not happen. But I think we are already in it. If you're tapped into the energy of the collective, we are already living in times where things are moving fast and changing really fast. That gives us the opportunity to shed our limiting beliefs and have a more optimistic or faithful view of the future. Not because it's all going to go smoothly, and not because maybe something big isn't going to happen, but because it's all for the good of the collective.

This has been a tumultuous year so far. It's a fire horse year in the Chinese astrology system. We had the Saturn-Neptune conjunction at zero Aries on February 25. That was a 6,000-year event. So 2026 is a very complicated year.

One thing I want to point out within this alignment is Uranus at four Gemini is going to trine Pluto at four Aquarius. The Uranus-Pluto trines haven't happened since the early 1920s. What we saw under the last series of Uranus-Pluto trines was the advent of commercial radio. That changed the world. We saw the automobile revolution. We saw electrification. Before Uranus was trining Pluto in the 1920s, about 20% of homes were electrified. At the end of that three- or four-year series, 50% of homes were electrified.

These are world-changing aspects. This particular one is suggesting huge technological breakthroughs at a very rapid rate. This holds a lot of promise. AI and quantum computing could cure cancer. It could fix so many problems in human society. But it could also take all our jobs and take over control. There is the light side and the dark side, and we have to consider both sides.

It's good to point out that light and dark aspect, because a lot of times when I talk to people, they oscillate to one or the other. They're like, okay, tell me the love and light spirituality, how everything is going to awaken and ascend to 5D consciousness. Or they're like, oh my God, is my life going to fall apart? Is everything going to be bad? They oscillate between one or two. I always try to tell people it's both. There is the darkness and the light, and the light and the darkness. You have to learn how to ride the line between the light and the dark. You're supposed to have one foot in the dark and one foot in the light, and stay balanced. If you go too far in the light, you lose sight of the dark, and then it sneaks up on you and you don't see that it's coming.

I really think that's the transformation that's happening. The best advice I've tried to give people at this time is if you have an idea for something in your life, or some thing you've always wanted to do that you felt was impossible, like you could never do that, or you could never make money doing that, or it wouldn't be possible to support yourself or your family, July 2026 is changing everything. The jobs that people thought were secure, like becoming a doctor or becoming a lawyer, guess what? You can ask AI a lot of those questions, and AI is a lot better at going through contracts and figuring out those little things. Whereas being a real human being up here presenting is not something that AI can do.

I think there's going to be a huge shift in what's possible. For a lot of people, especially people drawn to things like Bitcoin, things that are outside the system, they already know a little bit of what they're here to do or what they feel drawn to. I really feel like July 2026 is an opportunity to launch the project, try the new thing, and make the impossible possible, because that's the level of historical new precedent that's being set.

Totally, because the way to it is through. When you're thinking about the shadow work and the dark things, I think what happens is now we have an opportunity to not get stuck in the challenge, not get stuck in the darkness. Not to say, because this didn't work, this isn't going to happen for me, or this vision that I see in my mind isn't possible. When you're really looking at what you want and what you're feeling called to do, this is the time to do it. But don't be afraid to feel all that stuff that comes up, that causes you to have fear, while understanding that this is the time and you are the one.

Absolutely. Robert just pointed out that Bitcoin is involved in this as well, because Bitcoin has its natal moon right where that Neptune placement is at four degrees Aries. I want to make sure we have time for outros, but do you want to say a couple of words on that?

It's really interesting that this alignment is at four degrees. That's what's so unique about this alignment: they're all at four degrees. The Bitcoin moon is at four Aries, so all of these planets are going to be aspecting the Bitcoin moon. Do I know exactly what that means? No, it's too complicated. But it's going to be a very interesting month. Watch Bitcoin in July.

We're going to see a lot of emotions. The moon is the emotional world, the inner world. Bitcoin has in some ways lost a little bit of its initial cypherpunk vision. Look around at this conference and the speakers. There are a lot of people you might not have expected to be here 10 years ago. With Neptune, Neptune is the spiritual basis of reality. I think we're revitalizing that deep emotional connection to Bitcoin. That's my hope for it.

We're almost out of time. I would love any final thoughts you have, advice for 2026, advice for people who are getting into this. Heather, do you want to start?

I just want to say quickly that the Bitcoin principles will help lead the way. Bitcoin is a tuning fork that will give you resilience, low time preference, and taking the time to align yourself with your life. I did actually build a Bitcoin astrology app. If you want to, I'm going to zip it to Club Orange after, or if you want to go to heatherkeys.com, you can put in your details and it will show you how Bitcoin is resonating with you. It will give you a score and it will give you the challenge, like how much Bitcoin is potentially challenging you. Then you can get a reading for all of the charts, like the Genesis block, the white paper, the first client download, and first client transaction.

All I can say is embrace change, because you probably already know this if you have gotten this far in 2026. Change is coming. It's coming fast and we don't have a choice. The things you're being forced to let go, that's all for the best. Embrace change. The more you resist change, the more difficult this time period is going to be for all of us.

Absolutely. That's great advice. Thank you both. This has been such a great conversation. Honestly, we could have talked for an hour or an hour and a half on this. We will probably do some kind of Twitter Space or something after this to keep this conversation going. If you want, follow us on Twitter and stay updated with that. Thank you all so much, and thank you to the conference for hosting a panel like this. Thank you for attending. Thank you, Bitcoin 2026. You can come find me too if you want to scan my QR code.

Global events increasingly feel less like isolated incidents and more like pieces of a coordinated narrative: part reality, part performance. From kayfabe in politics to astrology’s cyclical lens and Bitcoin’s rules-based system, this panel explores competing frameworks for interpreting what’s actually happening in the world. Are these tools for clarity, or just different ways of telling ourselves stories? And which lens, if any, helps us see the signal through the noise?
